Created in 2017 in Hong Kong by Changpeng Zhao, also called CZ, Binance is an online platform specializing in the purchase, sale, and exchange of cryptocurrencies.
Quickly, the exchange established itself as one of the best on the web. The platform has thus bought many other companies and players like CoinMarketCap for $400 million.
Currently, it is possible to trade hundreds of alternative digital currencies on the Binance : bitcoin BTC, ethereum ETH, solana SOL etc.
In addition, the exchange has developed its own blockchain with the “ Binance Blockchain ” and its own virtual digital currency with BNB ( Binance Coin ).
Finally, the broker has developed a mobile application compatible with Android or iOS smartphones so that its users can trade from their mobile.
Binance Wallet , a wallet dedicated to BNB Chain
In addition to its exchange , Binance now also offers a digital wallet specially designed and developed to interact with the BNB Chain blockchain ecosystem, as well as with the Ethereum ETH blockchain .
Currently, Binance Wallet is only available as a browser extension, and not yet available as a mobile application for Android and iOS smartphones.
The digital wallet developed by Binance is relatively similar to its competitors like MetaMask , however, the Wallet designed by the exchange offers a better UI/UX interface.

Binance NFT, the future leader of marketplaces?
Binance , in addition to a cryptocurrency exchange platform, and a Hot Wallet , has been offering since June 2021 a complete NFT marketplace for creating, selling, buying and collecting NFTs. Note that the platform is specially dedicated to tokens from the BNB Chain and Ethtereum blockchain .
